• Hi,

    I have a site running two custom user roles that I have added. It seems that password reset emails are working for all the default user roles, but not the additional two custom ones.

    Is there something I need to add to activate the reset password link email for those user roles?

    No, roles do not factor into password resets. Something else is going on. The relation to custom roles is coincidental. If the user has a valid email address, they should get the reset message. There are any number of reasons external to WP why an email message may not be received. One common issue is it’s treated as spam by the recipient’s mail client.
