That document is generally not for the WordPress plugin. For WordPress, you’ll probably want the [addtoany] shortcode or one of the other placement options mentioned in the plugin’s FAQ.

    Custom shortcode example:

    [addtoany url="https://www.example.com/page.html" title="Some Example Page"]

What’s the URL where you’re using AddToAny?

This is great, but where am I adding the shortcode?

The Plugins FAQ mentions nothing about sharing to a custom URL. Is this not possible? If not, I will need to find another plugin that works.

Hi there. I’m still trying to share a custom URL. For example, I want the share buttons to appear on a thank you page, but I want them to actually share the main website URL. Is there any documentation for the WordPress plugin that I could reference to do this?

Edit your page and insert the AddToAny shortcode, for example:

    [addtoany url="https://www.example.com/" title="My Home Page"]

Just replace https://www.example.com/ with your custom URL, and My Home Page with your custom title.

That’s what I needed – thank you so much!
