Custom url found in search

  • Hi,

thanks for this great plugin. I like the idea of having a “redirect” as a new custom-contenttype.
However, even if this content-type is not shown in the blog, you can find it via a search.
So if anyone searches for the title, the simple-url-content will be listed in the search-results.
Is there an easy way to prvent this?

    Thanks again
    Stefan

  • I have the same question. Removing/hiding Simple URLs from search results is definitely something that should be added.

I tried using a function to manually remove the post/links from internal search results based on its category ID (DB says the cat ID is 0) but it didn’t work.

Anyone else have this issue or have a solution?
