    Hello WP Community,

first of all, I am completly new to WordPress and made my Theme like 4 Hours ago….

So like I said, this is completly new to me and I can’t php or html perfectly. I am trying to change my current plain html site to an WordPress theme, but I have currently the problem, that if I am logged in, the admin bar is gone. The space where the bar should be is there, but just blank white.

*I am using WordPress version 3.5.2

Your theme’s footer.php file should contain a call to <?php wp_footer();?> just before the closing </body> tag.

Not necessarily. I assume you have reviewed Theme Development?

No, I will read it now. I found this pdf file and used it.

I’d stick to resources from wordpress.org if I was you.

I also thought about doing this, but I want to try experimenting with WordPress by my self…
