On the organizer page, I have the “upcoming events” section set to use the “plain list” view to display the events. I am using the “custom text” feature rather than the (default) dates display for the events.

The custom text appears above the “More Info” button. I’d like to make the custom text larger and bold. I don’t know more than very basic css, so this is beyond my capabilities. Can you tell me what custom css to add to accomplish this?

The default dates display will also work for what I want if I tell it to not display the times. Except the start date has the day of the week in front. How do I get rid of the day of the week and only display the start date?

Thanks in advance for your always great support.

Never mind about my above request. I decided that the way it is working (and looking) is just fine. Thanks anyway.

Hi Larry, Sorry to pop up on your thread but I would like to know how you managed to set such a small size for your event images in the row layout, because I think I’m using the same display but my images are much bigger and I would enjoy managing to restrict the size πŸ˜‰ (I’ve try uploading smmaller images but the plugin keep enlarging it resulting in no smaller blurry images :/ )
    Thanks in advance.

On the EventPrime settings page, choose “frontend views”, then the “event” section. About half way down the page is the “Event Image Options” section I have the width set to 300 and the height to auto.

Sorry … just reread your message and realized you are talking about the row layout. Are you asking about the upcoming events on the organizers (theatres in my case) page? If so, I don’t think I did anything special to set the size. I’m using the “plain list” option rather than the “stacked rows”, primarily because that uses a smaller image. It also doesn’t include as much information.

Hi Larry, thanks for your reply.
Yes, I was indeed talking about your “upcoming events” display (for each theater).
So I guess “Plain List” is a display option that exist only in the premium version of the plugin.
I’m using the free version ;/
It’s very nice from you to have taken time to answer me.

Or maybe is it part of an extension ?
If you don’t mind a second answer, please let me know !
    I’ll greatly appreciate.

I am using the free version. I have no extension installed.

The plain list option shows on the Settings, Frontend Views, Organizers page for me:

I have no idea why it would not be available for you.

    Thanks again Larry,
I figure it out, I thought you were using the event display, but you’re using the related event’s one and, thanks to your explanations I found it and it does indeed feature the “plain list” format, which would be very convenient for event display as well… A pity it isn’t implemented in the events management part, as well for a even more basic list.

Just as you suggested, I’m trying to figure out a way to get the list I want with the import/export plugin, but I have to spend some time on it cause I’m new to all that πŸ˜‰
Will let you know if I manage to set smthg up !

Btw I’m webmaster to my small french amateur Theatre company, so if one of your theatre ever want to stage some frenchies performing modern english plays (in french :/) let me know ,)))

    Thanks again
