For a few days I’ve tried to find a solution to the problem described below, and after many failed attempts, I decided to ask you for help. I’d like to ask you to tell me how to add custom template to the second page in the large post, and open this second page in new window. I don’t mean a page on the list of posts, but the page I divide into a large post.
A detailed description of the function:
Adding the long post, I need to add a second page. I do this using the function <!–next-page–>. I wish, however, that the other side was opened in another custom template than the post and the main page of the post. Post is displayed in the default template, however another page I would like to display in a different template. This page would also be opened in a new window, where there will be displayed a gallery with NextGen Gallery (imagebrowser).
Opening the page itself in a new window is not so important for me. I can do that by making the address of the other page available as: example.com/post-slug/2/ What is essential for me is to make this address open in the specified template, other than the default template.
Is it possible to add the URL address, where you can specify in what template you want to open the address?
I hope you get what is my problem here. But anyway let me know please if my message is unclear to you.
I will be very grateful for help.
