Custom template help

  • Hello,

Im making a custom template <http://abelloda.co.uk/wp/blog&gt; and i’m having problems with the blogroll item on the side bar. I have tried different things with unordered lists in the style sheet but when ever i try to put the blogroll or pages section it comes up with an annoying black dot! Anyone knows how i can get rid of it, please? Any help / suggestions appreciated.

  • Do you have an <li> before “Blogroll”? It seems you have some tags out of order. <li>‘s before <ul>‘s and <div>‘s before <ul>‘s, etc.
    Let’s validate:
    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.abelloda.co.uk%2Fwp%2Fblog%2F
Some of this stuff will seriously bork your blog. Items 24 and on have to do with your affected sidebar code.

I haven’t written anything for blogroll. What i use for calling the blogroll is: ‘ <?php get_links_list(); ?> ‘ only. And no
<li> at all in my index.php. Could there be any other reason(s)? I’m thinking what i need to do is probably re-do the whole page? Will have a go and see how it happens. Will post how i get on here.
