[resolved] Custom taxonomy - weird bug - posts doesn't show (9 posts)

    Hi,
I have made a custom taxonomy called "year". When I use year 2011
(http://www.aplusdevelopment.se/wp/?year=2011) everything is fine, and the site shows all posts filed under year 2011. But as soon as I use 2010 or 2009 (or any other years) no posts show up, even though I have posts filed under these years. See here: http://www.aplusdevelopment.se/wp/?year=2010

You can also see a post filed under year 2010 here:
    http://www.aplusdevelopment.se/wp/?p=583
Try to click the 2010 link and see what happens.

I also have a custom taxonomy called location, that one works perfectly well in all circumstances.

I use the theme codium extend.
    http://www.aplusdevelopment.se/wp/

This seems like a VERY weird bug.
Is it possible that it is connected to the theme?
I don't even know where to start, any help is appreciated.

Try changing your custom taxonomy to "years".

Try changing your custom taxonomy to "years".

How do you mean? Why would it work out better if i use "years" instead of "year"?

The name of the taxonomy shouldn't matter as far as I have understood, or should it?

And how come it works for 2011 and not 2010 in that case?

Why would it work out better if i use "years" instead of "year"?

Because the "year" may be causing the problem due to a conflict. And, yes, I have seen this type of thing before.

    Thanks for your reply

I tried to change the taxonomy to "years", it works a bit better, but not perfect. Now, 2010 and 2009 works perfect, but 2011 only shows one post, even though there are at least 3 or 4 posts tagged with year 2011.

As you say, there most be some kind of conflict.

Ok... NowI have tested a bit more. Now it only shows one project for each year. Probably an error in my coding.

Yes, that last part was just a small error in my coding.

Now everything works fine. It works perfect with the "projectyear" instead of "year".

    Thanks!!
