Custom Tax not getting passed to the parent dropdown

    Created a Custom Hierarchal Taxonomy within a Custom Post Type. When I go to add terms to it in the backend, It adds it to the list BUT DOES NOT add it to the “Parent” Dropdown. So to create another term parented under the one I just made previously, I have to refresh the page to get it to show under the parent dropdown.

    Categories under posts act fine, why would the custom tax not act the same?
