Support » Plugin: Booster for WooCommerce » Custom Tab module only removes tab text, not content heading

    Hi! In the product tab module for Booster, I see where I can disable or rename WooCommerce’s custom tabs. However, WooCommerce also gives the content in each tab a heading/title of the same name. Can that be removed in the Booster plugin, too? It’s not really useful to not be able to remove it, since the headings obviously don’t match. For example, if you click on the “product data” tab on my footstool product (https://engergrove.com/product/footstool/), you will see that the tab says “Product Data” but the heading still says “Additional Information” (The custom WooCommerce title.) How do I get these things to match, (or even just remove the heading would be fine since its redundant anyway…)

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    I will forward your request to our development team so they could add this as a feature.

    In the meantime, I wrote some CSS code that will hide the headers.
    If you would like to hide all headers in product tabs:

    .woocommerce-Tabs-panel > h2 {
        display: none;
    }

    If you would like to hide a header for this particular tab:

    #tab-additional_information > h2 {
        display: none;
    }

    You can copy and paste this code to Booster’s Custom CSS module.

    Thank you! I’m really grateful you are forwarding my request to your development team – I think this would be an important addition to your plugin.

    In the meantime, I used the code you created in the CSS module and it worked! Thanks so much for your help!

    I have another question, this time regarding the Shipping Descriptions module. The text I add as a description automatically matches the size/font of the shipping title (i.e. “Flat rate”, “Local Pickup”, “UPS” options). Is it possible to get a code that would make the description font smaller, so the description appears as more of an afterthought and doesn’t take up so much space on my shipping page?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    I would need to see the page where these descriptions are shown. I’ve tried to find them on your website however a couple of random states I’ve tried did not have any shipping methods available. Could you tell me how to display at least one of the shipping methods?

    So sorry! I’m having issues with my shipping plugin right now and have reached out to that developer for assistance. Until he or she fixes it and gets me some help, you won’t be able to access the cart page to look. I will reply again as soon as it is up and running.

    Thanks for your patience!

    You might be able to check it now! The only description I currently have is for “Local Pickup”, so you will have to use any zip code in Minnesota. I recommend using:
    City: Bemidji
    State: MN
    Zip: 56601

    Right now it should say: “Local Pickup: FREE || Our address will be at the bottom of your emailed receipt.”

    I would like the message “Our address will be… etc.” to be in a slighly smaller font than “Local Pickup”. If it could be on the next line, under the words “Local Pickup,” that would be even better. So ideally it would read:

    Local Pickup: FREE
    Our address will be at the bottom of your emailed receipt.

    Thank you!!

    Hi,

    It seems that the description is being added to the same HTML element so unfortunately it’s not possible to change how it’s being styled using CSS. I will forward your request to our development team.

    Thank you for looking into that for me. I hope your development team will consider making that possibility in the future – it would be a great asset!

    I have one more issue I’ve encountered. I downloaded Booster’s Tax Display module in hopes to remove the tax display on certain items when applicable. I would like the tax line to disappear whenever the tax is 0, but of course to remain visible any time a customer’s cart does have tax.

    I see within the module where you can make the tax line disappear on certain products, but I don’t have any products that are necessarily always tax-free. Because tax codes vary state-to-state, whether I charge tax on my items is based on the customer’s location. I’ve already configured my shipping plugin to do the necessary calculations, but I need the Tax Display module to just automatically take the tax line away whenever it reads $0.00. Is that possible to do?

    Thank you for your help! I really appreciate it!

    Hi,

    Unfortunately that is not possible yet.

    Bummer. 🙁 I hope that possibility is something that can be added soon! It would be a big help for online businesses.

    Thank you so much for all the help you’ve given me – I really appreciate it!
