Custom tab Data is not showing in store Search

    Hi
    I created a custom tab and Import the data using CSV file, Tabs and Data are visible on frontend fine, but when I Search the Custom Tabs data from Search form on my site it gives error “founds nothing”.

    But When I edit that product from the Admin Panel and do nothing just click on update and afterward Custom Tab’s data is visible in Search form for that specific product only.

    Please help in this regard.

    Hi @adnanqammar

    Custom metadata is not included in WordPress or Woo search by default. You need to enable it with code or use our Pro add-on because that is one of its features.

    As You said above that custom product tabs data will be available in Pro Version, we purchased the Pro version and install it on our development site but my custom product tab data is still not visible in the search. as we are using this Search on our site.

    Hi @adnanqammar,

    According to the advanced-woo-search docs, you have to buy the pro version of their plugin to search product metadata. I understand that our plugin does offer the ability to add that information to the search, but that only applies to the core search functionality provided by WordPress.

    If you have further questions related to the pro version of our plugin (and we are happy to help), please open a ticket through the support page of the plugin. We are not able to provide support for premium plugins on the free forums.
