Hello there. I have two questions.

    1) Is it possible to make a custom slug so that all links go out through something like mysite.com/out/randomslug ? Or is this not a good idea?

    2) I see Google is now recommending adding ‘sponsored’ to rel attributes. Do you all recommend this now given that there is already nofollow by default?

    Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out. To answer your questions:

    1. Yes! This is completely possible and it doesn’t hurt to do it with or without a slug prefix. In order to add a slug prefix (like /out/slug/), you’d want to navigate to Wp-Admin -> Pretty Links -> Options -> Links and type in the prefix (out in this case) in the “Base Slug Prefix” field. However, please note that this won’t affect any existing pretty links you’ve created on your site.
    2. We generally recommend enabling the “Sponsored” option if you’re using an affiliate link as your target URL.

    I hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
