    Hi,

I searched for other topics but didn’t manage to find similar issues.

I’ve created new Post Type Slug “operators” and changed Custom Rewrite Slug to “casinos, ” which was working just fine.

Then I created a page with the same slug “casinos” and when I realised that is a no-no I deleted it but CPT UI Custom Rewrite Slug stopped working so all my URLs as “casino/post-name” giving me 404 now.

When I change Custom Rewrite Slug to anything, like “test” then “test/post-name” is working fine, but “casino”, is just not.

Tried to reset permalinks, etc, but no luck.

Any advice? Maybe someone had this issue before?

    Thank you.

Have you flushed any caches as well? The permalinks flushing should fix things overall in terms of restoring things back once the conflicting page slug was removed or changed to something else.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I did try to flush the cache, disable all other plugins just in case, etc, it just anymore not recognise “casinos” specifically if I use it as a Custom Rewrite Slug, every other slug, starts working fine, put “casinos” again and we’re back to 404.

    Very weird and confusing 🙂

What’s the permalink to the archive, if it’s public. Would be curious if I experience the same.

Did you empty the trash bin in the admin, so that the page is fully deleted? I’m wondering if maybe the trash version is still affecting things.
