• (This is my first real WordPress plugin, so I hope I’m announcing this right.)

Custom Rewrite Rules is a plugin intended for those who whish to add static redirects to WordPress, much like permalinks. This enables you to set up redirects if you’ve changed the structure of your site, renamed a slug and want the old slug to remain functional (for both search engines and existing links) or whatever reason you can think of.

This may have been done before, but I decided to create it from scratch so it would work exactly as I wanted.
The plugin adds rules to WordPress’ list of rules (permalinks) and then stores them in the database.
All rules can easily be edited/deleted through the admin panel.

Any and all feedback is more than welcome…
