Support » Plugin: SEO Redirection Plugin - 301 Redirect Manager » Custom Redirects Not Working

  • I want to purchase the full version but the free version Custom Redirects isn’t working.

I need for this to work ASAP because it is needed on a website I am doing.

This is the first time I have used this so maybe I am missing something.

I have filled out the redirect tab with the old and new URLs. I also have a redirect page for anything else that may appear. If I have the 404 Error Links tab Enabled then any bad URL goes to the redirect page as it should. The issue is none of the custom redirects are working. I Disabled the 404 Error Links tab and then tried to see if the custom redirect tab worked and it still doesn’t work.

Just it case it matters the options page has everything enabled except the ‘Unknown 404 Redirect Status’, it is the only one disabled. All available boxes are checked, I didn’t change anything on these settings.

I want to use this plugin because I like the backend look and feel, I just need to work quickly because I just took the website live for a client.

NOTE: This is for the same domain. The previous website was not a WP site so for example the URLs end in index.htm, etc.

    Please help!!

    Thank you.

I figured out what I was doing wrong.

I wasn’t suppose to type the entire URL in the source, just /blabla part.

    Thanks.
