    Hello Sir,
I have been following the development of Delicious Recipes. You have almost done some of the beautiful things I expect, but one useful flexibility is still missing. I want to be able to create my own Recipe Display Template using Elementor or Gutenberg. This means that I should have Elementor Widgets or Gutenberg Blocks for every Recipe part. So I should be able to have an Elementor Widget, Gutenberg Block, or shortcode for:
    -- Recipe Featured Image.
    -- Recipe Ingredients.
    -- Recipe Nutrition.
    -- Recipe Instructions.
    -- Difficulty level,
    -- Recipe time,
    -- Servings.
    -- Recipe Taxonomy.
-- and so on. Now, if you really look at this message, you should readily see what I am attempting to achieve: I am saying that I want every component of my Recipe Single Page to be Drag-and-Drop:: so that I can have any component placed anywhere in a Template I can create with Elementor or Gutenberg. In this way, I can have a unique Single Page Recipe Template, and not be stuck only with the Recipe Template you've provided. Now, Elementor provides us with the ability to create Templates. But you need to provide us with Widgets or Shortcodes for those Template parts from Delicious Recipes. When will you implement this possiblity? Needing to hear from you soon. Regards.

    Hi @gamicord,

Thank you very much for the recommendation. This is something we also want to do in the future. We already have a list of feature request and improvements planned that our team is currently working on.

Once we finish the planned roadmap, we will look into this request. We can provide a concrete timeline when this feature will be implemented but we can assure you that this is something we definitely want to do as it adds more flexibility to our plugins.

    Thank you.

Now, this is the one I’m using currently:

    https://help.bootstrapped.ventures/article/83-recipe-shortcodes

On this Page above, you can see that every part of the Recipe Template is already broken down into shortcodes.

When using Elementor Page Builder, I am able to create different kinds of Recipe Templates arranged differently and coloured differently, and I can display different Templates according to Recipe Categories.

In this way, I am using just one Recipe plugin, but I am able to create different types of Recipe Grids, Recipe lists, and different types of Single Page Recipe Templates for my Recipes– simply because these ones have shortcodes for almost all their Recipe parts.

This the flexibility I’m asking from Delicious Recipes for more than a Year now, and you’ve still not been able to do it.

How much longer should we wait?

    Regards

    Hi @gamicord,

While we liked the recommendation, as informed earlier, we already have our roadmap planned. We won’t be able to work on the feature for this year until we finish the tasks on our roadmap. Further, it is only feasible for us to implement any feature if many users request it. Currently, you have only requested the feature. We also cannot guarantee that we will implement this feature.

Since you are already using WP Recipe Maker and it fulfills the purpose, you can continue using it. If you want this immediately in our plugin, you can also explore hiring developers from Upwork, Codeable or Fiverr.

    We hope you understand.

    Thank you.
