I have created several custom fields on my profile form, and in my Member Directory settings I have checked the Profile Card “Show extra user information below tagline?” options, and then added the new fields to the “Choose field(s) to display in extra user information section” option. I also unchecked the “Hide extra user information to the reveal section” option so my custom fields should always display in on the users profile page.

    Unfortunately, they are not displaying.

In my custom fields I added a Content Block to serve as a separator between the main contact info fields and some organization specific fields, and the Content Block shows on the front end profile page, but none of the actual fields are displaying.

I don’t know what I’m missing to get them to show.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I made some progress. I didn’t see the Meta box on the side of the form editor where I can add custom fields as Meta information to be displayed. And apparently, there has to be information in the field for it to be displayed. I have the fields displaying as Meta information.

But I do still have one issue. I have created some additional fields that are for internal use. Things like what committee a member is assigned to, or if they are an officer in the group. These are not filled out by the person registering, an admin needs to enter this information after someone has been approved.

How can I access those fields to add information later?

And solved. Turns out you can not edit those fields in the back-end. But as an admin or the profile owner, they can be updated on the front-end by clicking the gear icon on the upper right of the users profile page.

I’d like to give myself a big hand for all the support. I rock!

    Hi,
    i have a similar problem.
I add some fields to my registration form and set the public profile to “Not visible”.

    1) all profiles are visible from guests and other users (and i don’t want that)
    2) Users, to edid information, have to login in http://www.website.com/account for Name, Surname and email and in http://www.website.com/user/username to edit other informations. Can’t users edit all the in formations in single form?

    Thank you,
    Best regards,

    Luca
