  • It may caused by mentioned the post_date in your csv. If you give the current date,wordpress set the status as scheduled while importing the post until the next cron run. Even though you give the post status as “publish” in your csv.

    Thanks vasanthavanan but i don’t have post_date in my csv.

    These are the 4 columns in the csv:
    the_title
    the_content
    tnumber (custom text field)
    approval_date (custom field that contains a unix time stamp of a past date)

    i tried uploading with a post_date column with yesterdays date in the csv but the posts still won’t display until individually opened and updated.

    as a test i tried uploading a version of the csv without the “approval_date” column and all of the custom posts disappeared and when i open newly uploaded posts i see that custom field has the upload date added to that field.

    So it seems having custom field with a date is causing the issue but i’m not sure how to get around it. Any further help would be appreciated. thanks!

    Kindly provide us a sample of csv for further analysis.
