# Custom Posts and script

 * Hi,
 * I have, for the first time, created a custom post. Now, the thing is, I want 
   to have an advertisement only on these posts. As the custom posts don’t have 
   a file of their own, like single.php, what is the best way to do that without
   having to add the code to each post? It might be a simple solution, I just don’t
   find it.

 * Hi Leslie, custom post types _can_ have [a template file of their own](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy#Single_Post_display),
   and that would be a great way to pull this off 🙂
