Custom post type to WooCommerce Product

    I already had an bus ticket reservation website created with a bus plugin that is fully dependent on WooCommerce. Now I want to add some more custom field like separate ticket booking charges for sales agent & Fleet owners, Can I implement code in such that I don’t lost it in woocomerce update. Do I need a child theme for customization if can I add child theme in the up & running website

    And another important thing since the plugin used custom post type for the bus, the bus does not show as product in woocomerce (but in analytic and report it shows as product column) for which I am not able to used Mutlivendor plugin. How can I add the custom post type bus as woocomerce product.
