‘Custom Post Type’ shows as post type ACF

First let me say I love this plugin. It is simple, and clean, and exactly what I need, and nothing else.
When using Advanced Custom Fields (and yes, I know, it is a third party here) and the user goes to assign a field group to a custom post type, there is a ‘Custom Post Type’ and a ‘Custom Taxonomy’ that shows up as post types, even if no custom post types have been created yet.
So it looks like the plugin is registering these as custom post types in and of themselves? Is there any way I can keep these from showing up as registered post types?

This happens in every install of WP using ACF Pro 5. Like I said, it is a minor thing, but it does cause confusion.
