hi, I have created a custom post type using pods.but when I create a post and add content using the default wp editor and view the post i just see a white blank screen with a header. When I switch to wp default themes the posts works fine.

  • White Screen (or the “White Screen of Death”) is the telltale sign of a PHP error when loading a page in WordPress; you can enable some of the Debug Settings in WordPress to get more details about the error in your theme.

Since switching to a Default Theme makes the error go away, this leads you to a theme problem, not a Pods one, unfortunately. I’d start with the Theme developer to try to troubleshoot this one, but turning on the PHP warnings or writing them to a log as discussed in the link above will help in getting the right details in front of the Theme developer.

My guess is that it probably has something to do with the theme also registering post types and possibly in an incorrect way and that’s why it’s kicking an error.

Hi Jim. it’s not white screen of death.as I have mentioned I see the header. The content of the post is not generating , but when I go the archive page of the post type I can see the excerpts.
I ll do the debug and post error log .

Hello, you can also create a pre-purchase ticket on oceanwp.org if you want me to look if I find what is wrong.
