Hello, I always use your beautiful plugin and thank you for having it developed!
Problem: I created a type of post (“reference” [with Custom Post Type UI]), and everything worked.
I could create relationships between items in the new post type, but I renamed the post type (“reference” -> “references”), and I can not create the relationships again.
For posts and pages the relationships are correct.
I also cleaned the “wp_multilingual_linked” table but the relationships are still not working for this new type of post.
How can I solve the problem?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi dynamicdevotion,

I’m trying to replicate the issue using Custom Post Type UI, can you explain how do you do to use the same post type in all sites? I mean I’m able to create a post type in site 1 using the UI, but how do you manage/connect this post type in all sites?

    Thanks,
    Emili

I created the post type before creating the multisite, and then cloned the site.
    Thanks.

    Hi dynamicdevotion,

I did a test and what happened when I changed the post type slug is that Custom Post Type UI plugin registered a completely new custom post type so now I have two References in my admin menu, the plugin advises about this behavior in Edit Post Type tab:

DO NOT EDIT the post type slug unless also planning to migrate posts. Changing the slug registers a new post type entry.

I did a test registering a custom post type manually and I went not able to reproduce the issue, so I think that the issue is not related with MLP but with Custom Post Type UI plugin.

    Thanks,
    Emili

Okay, perfect, I’ll rename the new type of posts equally in all languages, for example, instead of “reference” -> “ref”.
But how do I rename the type of post slug for each language?
I would not like links like these:
    example.com/ref/reference1
    example.com/it/ref/referenza1
I would like links like these:
    example.com/reference/reference1
    example.com/it/referenze/referenza1
    Thanks so much!
