My question is concerning custom post types. I’ve made a custom post type called “mixes” so when you go to visit a mix, the url would be something like http://domain.com/mixes/my-post-title/. That all works fine. Now, with plain old categories (or even tags) if you were to put something into a category, the url would be something like http://domain.com/category-name/post-within-category/. And, if you wanted to view all posts that are within that category, you could simply visit http://domain.com/category-name/ and unless you somehow specify otherwise, WordPress by default will call the magical loop and display a list of posts in that category. What I’d like is to achieve that same effect but with my custom post type such that if you visit http://domain.com/mixes/ I’d get a list of all the posts that are of that custom post type. Currently if I try to visit that url, I get a 404. Any idea how to do this of what I might be doing wrong?
Here’s a link to the code I’m using to do all the custom post stuff: http://pastebin.com/fWDPPWgn
A million thanks in advance for any help you might be able to lend me!
