Custom post type: Filter pages by taxonomy

    Hi,

    When using Custom Post Type block, if one chooses “Page” as post type, it is not possible filter by taxonomy, even if there are taxonomies registered for page post type.

    Is there any reason for that? Or am I missing something?

    Hello Alan!

    Sorry for the delayed response.

    Well, I would like to inform you that by default pages don’t have taxonomies. 

    That’s why the Custom Post Type block can’t filter pages by it. So may I ask you to specify how you managed to register taxonomies for the general WordPress pages, please? Thanks.

    Hi, no problem!

    It is possible to do this using plugins like https://wordpress.org/plugins/create-and-assign-categories-for-pages/.

    Or even manualy, modifying the page post type after it is registered using the register_post_type_args hook.
