    Hello all,

I have created a new Custom Post Template to display property and I am using a Child theme of the Gridster-Lite theme.

Normal post page showing perfectly: Normal Post. content-single.php is the name of the defualt theme file post the post layout.

Custom Post Page is losing styling such as header and sidebar: Custom Post Page. I created a file named content-single-property-news.php for the new template and uploaded to my child theme folder.

I am using Custom Post Template to distinguish between posts.

I have spent nine hours trying to figure this out and am totally stumped. Would really appreciate any help?

I would have thought that single.php would have been used for the standard post and then single-custompost.php for the custom post type you've created.

Try creating / editing those templates
