# Custom Post Message based on category

 * Is there a way to have a custom post message based on the category of the news
 * For news category the post message will be different from the default post message.
 * Would be nice to have an option to set a custom post message based on the category
   selected.
 * News Category example:
    CREW Update %title% – Read Now @ %url%
 * Crew event category example:
    Crew Event %title% – Read Now @ %url%
 * Is it possible to do something like this?

    there’s not an option
   for this, but you can use the filter `wp_discord_post_post_content` to format
   the message differently based on the post category!
 * I do not think I’ll add an option for this in the future, maybe I’ll write an
   article about how to do this on my blog.
