# Custom Post Image Sizes Future

 * I’ve tried to get help from main “how to topic”, but no one seems to now the 
   solution. Maybe more expirienced programmers can help?
 * The problem is wordpress creating to many images if adding new image size with
   function “add_image_size”.
 * F.e. if I add 5 new image sizes wordpress will create 8 same images (5 new + 
   3 standart) for all uploaded images. But what if I just nedd 1 or 2 new images
   for my custom type post?
 * I don’t want to have huge number of unnecessary files and occupy too much space
   on my hosting.
 * I just need for examle, for post type “products” it creates one set of image 
   sizes, for post type “gallery” another set of img sizes.
 * I’m struggling almost 2 days with this problem.
 * If you now the solution, pls post it here.
 * I’m sure it will be very usefull for all wordpress users!

 * I’m looking for the same thing… Basically I need many different image sizes for
   different parts of my site, but I don’t want each image uploaded to be resized
   and saved to so many different sizes, only the ones that are necessary for that
   particular post type…
