Custom Post Content Showing On Blog Page

  • Hi, I am on the board of a non-profit and recently took over the website administration. I run my own personal blog using wp so I have some experience.

    I have a page that I want to make the dedicated blog page: http://elcaminorealfutbol.org/news/

    However, it is displaying content from another page that has “Custom Post Types” but I do not want it to do that. Specifically, it is posting content from this custom post page: Our Board as well as “Spots” page that appears on every other page (with the schedules/news).

    Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Can you share the code you are using on that template? If you can use pastebin.com to share that would be good.

    I can share the code but I’m not really sure where to grab it. This site was created by a web design company and I just took over so I’m not entirely sure what they did.

    I got this issue fixed but now I have another. The title of the first post creates a large space. This is teh css code I have:

    #primary, #primary-news {
    	background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
        float: left;
    	width: 100%;
        margin: 0;
    }
    h1.entry-title {
    	font-size:20pt;
    	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    	color: #224e22;
    	font-weight: 500;
    	margin: 28px 0  10px 25px;
    }
    .entry-content {
    	padding: 0 25px;
    	min-height: 0px;
    }
    .entry-content p{
    	margin-bottom: 1.8em;
    	margin-top: 0;
    	font-size: 10pt;
    	line-height: 1.8em;
    	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    	color: #666666;
    }
