    Hey Jan,

    Me again!!

I was wondering whether you might consider adding the ability to display a popup warning to the author if no featured image has been set (activated upon pressing the publish button) as many authors forget to set one but would happily do so if reminded.

After the warning is displayed the editor could either set a featured image, ignore the warning and continue to publish regardless (allowing your plugin to show the default image) or, if set via the admin, the author would not be allowed to publish the post without a featured image being set.

    Does that sound ‘doable’?

    Regards,
    Paul

Not a bad idea in itself.
But if I would make it it would be a separate plugin.

I want to keep this plugin as basic as possible.
    And I don’t know if I could do it….
