# Custom permalinks

 * I have a follow-up question to [this old post](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-permalink-for-sermon-post-type/).
   Bearing in mind that “really soon” is a very relative term, and knowing that 
   you guys are busy working on more important features, I wondered if it would 
   be too much trouble for you to provide me with a function that would let me add
   the %year% to the permalink of my individual sermon pages? Then I can just add
   it to my functions.php file to get this functionality working for me, until it(
   hopefully) might be added to the plugin itself. 😉

 * Thanks for the reminder. I have created [an issue on GitHub](https://github.com/WP-for-Church/Sermon-Manager/issues/179),
   so it doesn’t get forgotten.
 * Unfortunately, we are swamped with work at the moment, so it will take some time
   for it. (unless someone else gets onto it!)
 * Also, I did take a quick look now, and it doesn’t seem to be as simple as I thought–
   otherwise it would be in the next release. 🙂
