 * Sorry to ask but why? Permalinks aren’t places for descriptions of content beyond
   the title of the page or post.

 * My descriptions are going to have another part of the title in them. It would
   help SEO wise to have this in the permalinks. Anyway, does anyone know how?

 * If you enable fancy permalinks and set it to, for example, /%postname% then a
   post with a title of
    “My post title loaded with keywords” will end up with a
   permalink of [http://example.com/my-post-title-loaded-with-keywords](http://example.com/my-post-title-loaded-with-keywords)
 * Is that what you mean?

 * /%postname% is for the title of the post, but what is the %’text here’% for the
   description of the post?

 * My actual content is not going to be put in the post area, it goes in a custom
   field named “video_code”. I put part of the title of the video in the area where
   you normally type your post. I want the post area to be in my custom permalink
   structure. Is this possible? Sorry, I kind of worded it wrong before.
 * Thanks

 * There isn’t a %’text here’% option. See [http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Structure_Tags](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Structure_Tags)
   for the full list.

 * I’ve been trying the %tag% on my custom structure, but its not working. This
   is what I put in custom structure:
    /%category%/%postname%/%tag%
 * When I publish the post, the category and title work, but the tag part shows %
   tag% on the end instead of the actual tag. What am I doing wrong?
 * Thanks

 * You can’t do that (have a category and tag in the permalink at the same time).
 * Have a read through the codex page Esmi linked to.
 * Also, in my opinion, overloading your URL with a description of the post is not
   the way to ‘do SEO’ and is just as likely to be penalised by Google as to help
   your SEO.

 * I just tried taking out category and leaving /%postname%/%tag% and it still didn’t
   work.
 * Thanks

 * That exactly what I was trying to get across too.
