Custom page template/splash page problem Nivo Slider

    Hi,

    I need a simple splash page before users get to my homepage.

    I have had this ‘splash page’ working by creating a custom page template that contains simple HTML and images with a hyperlink at the bottom to my actual homepage.

    Before I created my splash page, my homepage featured the Nivo Slider jQuery image slider.

    Since I have created my splash page, and configured wordpress to display my front page using my new custom page template, my nivo slider doesn’t show up!?

    Any thoughts?

    Hi thanks for the reply, we have now scrapped the idea of using a splash page (thankfully!!!). There are 4 default page templates that shipped with my theme; homepage, full width, left sidebar & right sidebar. My nivo slider would only show when I set a page that uses the ‘homepage’ template and set to ‘home’ under settings – reading in the admin.
