Last modified: August 22, 2016 --- # Custom page layout and CSS. * [Anthyx](https://wordpress.org/support/users/anthyx/) * (@anthyx) * [11 years, 7 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-page-layout-and-css/) * Hi, * First of all, I’m using a twenty-eleven child theme. 🙂 * I would line to create custom pages using html and css. * Since I want just to hand code, I have disabled the “visual” tab, since it causes problems modifying my code. * Problem is that when I write something, even simple like this: * h1 {color:red;} or p {font-size:26px;} * Absolutely nothing changes in the page layout. * Is it something due to default theme values?
