 * Hi,
 * Firstly, this plugin is so fantastic.
 * Having a problem with a cpt: when I use a default archive template it works great
   but if I use a custom wp_query the filtering doesn’t work. Am I missing something
   obvious?

 * Search and Filter Pro (had a similar issue as with BTF using the free version).
   
   BTF is excellent in many use cases but not here.
