  • Hi Jaimie,

    The browser can’t find this file: /wp-content/uploads/2012/11/ticker00.js.

    So you’re getting a js error thrown when you call functions in it. I’d start there.

    I also saw that you’re trying to reference it with a “./”. Try enqueueing your javascript the “WordPress way” in your functions.php.

    Ex:

    add_action('wp_enqueue_scripts','my_js_include_function);
    function my_js_include_function()
    {
    wp_enqueue_script('nameoffile.js','abs/path/to/file/nameoffile.js');
    }

    So you see what’s going on here, your sub-submenu is overlapping the submenu because there aren’t any styles to tell it otherwise.
    Here’s an example of styling the sub-submenu otherwise;

    #nav ul ul ul {
     left: 220px;
    }

    If the problem persists from the JavaScript error pointed out by Andrew Bartel, you ought to fix that and not add a quick-CSS-fix .

    Muchas gracias A. Bartel and A. Nevins!

    I am going to try to find that .js file and see if that does the trick. If not, then I will go with the CSS, and let you both know.

    Thanks again!

    Well, bad news, the .js file didn’t affect the drop downs. Still having some overlapping and disappearing issues.

    UPDATE:

    I used CSS to get the drop downs to not overlap each other.

    Now, the drop downs under “Skin Rejuvenation” and “Our Practice” aren’t showing up at all. I tried using the z-index syntax and no progress.

    Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    I can see those menus.
    I am using the latest version of Chrome on Windows.

    Try clearing your browser cache.

    I cleared my cache in Chrome, Firefox and IE. I still only see the first drop down. There should be a second drop down like the “Plastic Surgery” and “Before & After” tabs.

    It doesn’t seem as though “Skin Rejuvenation” has a submenu branching off it;

    Wow. /facepalm Sorry, I over-looked that.

    I am doing maintenance on pre-built sites, so I don’t usually have all the info I need. That would be a bit of info that I needed.

    Thank you for your help!
