@perthmetro You are not doing anything wrong, you just need to open these pages through the newsletter footer link to see their contents.

OK so how do I test this to see if it’s working ok? I sent my email a preview newsletter and when I clicked on the manage subscription link in the email footer it gave me 404.

@perthmetro create a list with just your own username and send a newsletter to yourself, not a preview. Let us know if that works.

This was my url after I click on the link in the email footer…
https://xyz.com.au/wp-admin/https:/xyz.com.au/manage-email-subscription?mailpoet_router&endpoint=subscription&action=manage&data=eyJ0b2tlbiI6IjhiNjE4NmIwM2RjYjkzYjQ2ZDdhYWU4NWE1N2RmMjRlIiwiZW1haWwiOiJjb250YWN0QHBlcnRocmVsaWVmdGVhY2hlcnMuY29tLmF1In0
So I changed it to…
https:/xyz.com.au/manage-email-subscription?mailpoet_router&endpoint=subscription&action=manage&data=eyJ0b2tlbiI6IjhiNjE4NmIwM2RjYjkzYjQ2ZDdhYWU4NWE1N2RmMjRlIiwiZW1haWwiOiJjb250YWN0QHBlcnRocmVsaWVmdGVhY2hlcnMuY29tLmF1In0
and I got my original issue that I was directed to the page with only the page title and shortcode [mailpoet_manage_text="Manage your subscription"]

I have a Post Notifications set up with Send immediately if there's new content
, but when I posted a new CPT post (as i’ve nominated) I don’t get an email notification.

I added a new footer to my email template and that fixed the weird url as above and it still gives me the wrong url, but it still gives me the original issue that I was directed to the page with only the page title and shortcode [mailpoet_manage_text="Manage your subscription"]
It appears the shortcode isn’t working?

Shortcode [mailpoet_manage_subscription]
works for me.
Best regards.
@perthmetro Sorry about that, we just found the error in our Plugin text! You should use instead [mailpoet_manage_subscription]
on your custom pages.

My [mailpoet_manage_subscription] shortcode still isn’t working
@perthmetro, could we please ask you to use the feedback button in the bottom right corner of the plugin or e-mail us at beta@mailpoet.com so that we could take a closer look at what’s causing the shortcode not to work on your site?
Thank you,
MailPoet Team.
