• Hi there

Wordfence itself is very useful for the administrator site, but useless on the user site.

Will there be soon the possibility to have a custom locked out message?
    – like forwarding to a page with explanation
    – or editing possibilities of current lockout message

If this is not available in a very short time span, we need to look for another solution.

    Hi,

Yes, we are planning to add customization to the lockout and blocking messages relatively soon. I don’t have a date for when this will be included, but it is actively being worked by the dev team (reference number FB521).

    Thanks for the input!

    Matt,

Has there been any development on this?

FWIW, I’d like to be able to redirect blocked IPs to a different site, like the FBI’s cyber crime unit since my blocked IPs are all for attempted hacking.

    Thanks!

Not sure this helps, but the block messages are super easy to mod. Write your own. Keep a backup because every time WF updates it’ll write over them. I mod mine so they’re stripped of nearly everything and send blocked users to my Facebook so if they’re actually human they can ask for a whitelist. Could probably be a redirect as well.

    Main one is:

    wordfence/lib/wf503.php
