 * We have had a custom single listing template in place for a year and it has worked
   well. We updated the IMPress Listings plugin last week and our custom template
   option no longer shows in the Listing Template drop-down box. We followed the
   instructions on the following page for creating a custom template: [https://support.idxbroker.com/support/s/article/Troubleshooting-IMPress-Listings](https://support.idxbroker.com/support/s/article/Troubleshooting-IMPress-Listings).
   Are there different steps we need to follow now in order to use our custom template?
   Thanks!

 * Hi:
 * I was having the same issue and noticed your post. I think I managed to figure
   out a solution and just wanted to pass it along in case it’s helpful.
 * In the prior version of this plugin, the instructions from the plugin developer
   were to go to \wp-content\themes in your file manager… and then go into the folder
   for active WordPress theme (or preferably the folder for your child theme if
   you’re using one). Within one of those two theme folders, you should see your
   custom single listing template as a php file. You’ll want to copy this file.
 * In the current version of this plugin, where that file needs to reside is in
   a new location. In your file manager, go to \wp-content\plugins\wp-listings\includes\
   listing templates. Take the file you copied above and paste it within this folder.
   Once you do this, you should be able to go back into the WordPress dashboard
   for your site, add a listing and see your custom template within the list.
 * By the way, if the above works, I think you can feel free to delete the custom
   template from its old location in either your theme or child theme folders.
 * Hope this ends up being helpful!

 * Thanks [@gnarzilla](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gnarzilla/)! I placed
   my custom single listing template in the \wp-content\plugins\wp-listings\includes\
   listing templates folder, however, the system never added it to the drop-down
   list in the WordPress editor. As a work around, I ended up replacing all of the
   code in the Luxurious template file with my custom code and that worked (we now
   select Luxurious in the drop-down list and that applies our custom template).
   Thanks again for the tip on looking in the \wp-content\plugins\wp-listings\includes\
   listing templates folder, appreciate it!

 * Interesting [@ktech](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ktech/)! It seems like
   something else was preventing you from seeing the change you made. Maybe the
   reason for the absence of the addition to your dropdown list was either a WordPress
   site caching plugin or browser caching? However, it sounds like you’re all set
   at this point and don’t need to experiment any further at this point.
 * One extra thing that just occurred to me… If there’s ever a developer update
   to this plugin, it’s possible all of the changes we made in our respective listing-
   templates folder will be overwritten and that our listings will appear to be “
   broken” again. Just something to be aware of in the future and potentially check
   on.
