# Custom layouts

 * What is the best way to do custom layouts? We want a custom look, which I’ve 
   done before in the plugin templates themselves but I should do those in a child
   theme if possible (not overwriting the core plugin files). Also is it possible
   to display a single sermon, with only specific parts shown (for example, the 
   video)?

 * It’s very simple to edit Sermon Manager views, since 2.13.0 release. 🙂
 * All you need to do is to navigate to plugin directory, go to `views`, and then`
   partials`. Then, copy the files that you want to edit into one of the locations
   specified in the beginning of the file. Then, all you need to do is to edit it.

 * If you want to show just the video for **all** sermons, then just please edit`
   content-sermon-single.php` file.
