# Custom Image Permalinks

 * I love the fact that images now all get their own pages where people can comment.
   However, I was wondering if there was anyway to customize the permalink for them.
 * I really don’t like how they appear under the post. I.e.
 * /2006/01/10/post/image/
 * I’d love for them just to be as simple as:
 * /2006/01/10/image/
 * Is there anyway to customize them so they don’t appear under the post?
 * The reason I ask is because I want to create a gallery that will link to these
   pages. And obviously once you’re in the gallery it seems weird that the image
   is associated with a post.
