Support » Plugin: SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager » Custom html code on Event page

  • Is there a way to add your own html code to an Event page? For example, to add an Eventbrite event checkout for each event.

    Hi @jimmyhorizon ,

    You can use the action hooks of SportsPress as described here.

    In your example you can use the sportspress_after_single_event action hook.

    Thanks,
    Savvas

    Would this require editing the theme files?

    Hi!

    Ideally, you’d do that using filters in a child theme. But yes, this requires custom code.

    Thanks!

    Just add the hook to your child as @rochesterj suggested – like this :

    function my_custom_eventbrite() { ?>
    <div class=”my-custom-class”>Please register for my event! At eventbright.com/etc/etc/etc/</div>
    <?php }
    add_action( ‘sportspress_after_single_event’, ‘my_custom_eventbrite’, 999 );

    Yep, that’s the way to do it 🙂
