  • I’m using Kubrick default theme.

    Assume that I have a blog structure like this:
    -http://domain.com > my main blog
    -http://domain.com/about > static page
    -http://domain.com/about/me > static page
    -http://domain.com/archives

    And my question is, is it possible to use custom header image? I mean, if my main blog using header.jpg, then the about page should use header-page.jpg, as well as the archives which use header-archive.jpg.

    Thanks in advance.

  • You will need to use php if statements:

    <?php if ( is_category(#) ) : ?>
    <img src=”filename.jpg”>
    <?php endif; ?>

    You would need to do this for each of the pages you want a different header. Replace ‘#’ with the category number. If it is a page, change category to page. Make sure you do this where the body starts under ‘div id=”headerimg.’ Make sure you also uncomment the defined header with /* */

    Huge thanks x9tripboarder16.
    I’ll give it a try.

    One more thing.

    I want to put small div box at the front page, just on the top of the first post. That div box will contain some message such as “hi. welcome to my home page. my name is bla. bla. bla.”

    Then, what should I do?
