• I’m sure this a simple fix…

While creating a customer header in Elementor for GeneratePress I have somehow made the page builder functionality disappear. After I had created my header template in Elementor I then replaced the header from GeneratePress with the Header Footer Elementor plugin. Once I returned to Elementor to continue working with my site the custom header appears but I can no longer see the “Add Sections” or “Add Templates” box – because of this I cannot drag or drop any of the elements.

I have deactivated most plugins and then deleted GeneratePress for a clean install though I can not get this working at all. Sure it’s a very simple fix but I’ve spent hours on this now and cannot find a similar issue online either.

Thanks in advance for any help on this issue!

    Hi there,

If you remove the custom header, does the functionality come back? If so, there might be an error in the header you made, which is causing the rest of the page to fail.
