The plugin works pretty good but the problem is my header has a big ad on it. That’s fine for the main site, but looks lousy with the buddypress profile pages.

So, I created a new header in elementor without the ads and tried to set the display conditions to show this add on buddypress profile pages, but the buddybuilder profile page wasn’t there.

Is there a way I can have a custom header just for the buddypress pages?

Hi, so you want to have the BuddyPress conditions there. Will check and see if that is possible to alter Elementor conditions.
    Cheers

Why not Contact Elementor support for 100% working solution !

@staxwp exactly. That seems to be the issue. The pages are flagged as buddypress but there is no condition in elementor to show only on buddypress pages. Let me know if you find a solution. Thanks.

Hi, We just added this feature to BuddyBuilder Pro plugin. You need to have the Elementor Pro plugin active and you will see in the Display conditions new BuddyPress entry.

    Cheers

Thank you for your prompt fix on this!

    Hello and thanks for support.

I have almost the same issue, but different way.

I use Astra theme + Elementor.

I have a main site primary header for homepage, Product categories, Shop etc.., but i wanted to have a different primary header on my community BuddyPress pages on same site.

I built a custom layout “Header” by Astra theme options, i built it using Elemntor. In the header layout editing page, i set display conditions for all budyybuilder/buddypress pages/templates.

It worked well with /members, /activity and /groups pages, but unforunately main primary site header still appears instead of the custom header on /member prfile and /member groups.

It is little confusing because while editing with elementor it looks great, even in preview mode it appears well. but in reality at front end not works.

I hope you help me on that.

    links down shows different headers

    Hey there,

    Sorry for the late reply.

In relation to the raised query here, it appears that the issue is occurring within the member and group profile pages.
As for the Member profile pages, could you kindly counter check that the template you have assigned as the member profile template, has the custom header set to it.
In regards to the group pages, I can see that a BuddyBuilder template is not assigned hence a default BuddyPress template is being used and the custom header is still not rendered. Based on this, I would also recommend checking with your themes’ support team in regards to the applicability of custom headers on single member and group profile templates.

I look forward to your reply on this.

    Kind Regards
