  • apparently the newest version of lightword features a custom header, i can’t figure out where or how to change it though, besides changing it to the default “Lightword” image.

  • You need to replace the image located at
    lightword/images/header-image.png with your own.

    thank you very much

so i can’t just upload a new header-image.png to that folder? it won’t overwrite the pre-existing one?

Yes you can using FTP. And yes it will.

    thanks again

odd. i replaced the image, and when i go to the image directly, it shows the one i want, but when i go to my website, the header shows the default LightWord image instead of the one i uploaded :/

It could just be because your broswer has cached the original image or you are using some sort of caching system on your website. Reset all of those and you should be fine.

sorry to keep going on about this, thanks for all your help so far – but i opened my website in a different browsing program – the image is still unchanged. also, i deleted my cache and the image is still unchanged. i use the WP super cache plugin, do you think i should try disabling it and then deleting the cache again?

any quick fix to getting the “lightword/images/header-image.png” click-able so tat it goes to the top of the site?
