    Hi Mike,
    I have been testing the various 3.1.7 versions and with I still have the following issue

    When using the Custom email from options both with and with out the enable when web host... ticked, I receive the emails but they are from the users email address and not the custom one.

    If you receive the mail and can reply to the user then there is no problem .
    Settings custom from email address is necessary when the mail will not send because the host has a restriction in place.
    The checkbox is only required if the mail still down not send which is rare.
    The email will still appear to be from the user, I believe

    Hi Mike,
    I have had a check back and your right that is how its worked in the past. The reason I was after the alternative behaviour is I have replaced auto registration with a contact form due to many fake registrations. If the emails came from the Website fixed email address I can make sure they don't end up in the SPAM folder. Maybe a possible option for version 4? Many thanks for all your help.
