# Custom form vs plugin?

 * Is that better to use a custom form using AJAX and an external contact.php or
   is that better to use a plugin like contact form 7?

 * It’s always better to use a plugin, that way you’ll get tight integration, plus
   security updates and support from the plugin’s developer.

 * Thank you. However, I feel like with plugin you have less customization options
   than doing it yourself.
 * For example:
