  • i would love the ability to add a few custom fields to your post, like ‘listening to’ or, ‘feeling’ or whatever.

    …so how about it? I keep hearing how WordPress is so great and everything else sucks. Well lots of other CMS/Blog solutions out there have EXTENSIBLE page types. IOW, I can add fields as needed. Does WP support this?
    Incidentally, the PHP architecture looks horrible at first glance. I’m happy to spend some more time before passing final judgement, but jeez, anyone here ever programmed before?

    You could add your own custom meta. It’s visible in advanced view in posting section of admin panel. I also found the foolowing plugin so useful to display the custom meta.
