I’m trying out the free version of this plugin before I pay for it, to be sure it’ll do what I need, and so far I only have one issue (but it’s fairly major). My client accepts flat-rate deposits for his products, and using this add-on plugin, it adds the total price for the product add-on to the deposit. So, instead of allowing the customer to pay our flat deposit of of $500, it adds the cost of any add-ons to the deposit amount. Is there a way to have the product add-ons add to the product total, but exclude that from the cart total so it doesn’t add value to the deposit amount? I haven’t been able to find any other questions like this for an answer, and so far neither WooCommerce Deposits nor Advanced Product Fields backend configuration address this.

    Hi @jreidfive

Unfortunately, our plugin doesn’t integrate with the deposit plugin (and they don’t integrate with us), so that’s why it isn’t working. It’s not something we can easily implement, I’m afraid. I’ve added it on our to-do list as I already have an idea on how to integrate but I would need time to do this.

Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you at this point!

    Okay, thanks for responding!

Hi Maarten. As a developer myself, I know this isn’t something you can necessarily address right away, but I have the same exact issue as jreidfive. I just wanted to add support to enhancing the plugin to accommodate flat deposits, regardless of product addons.

Great plugin, in spite of this limitation.

    Thanks.

Thanks @wwmres we’ve also noted your interest in this and it’s on our to-do list to take a look at. Which deposit plugin do you use?

I am using “Bayna – Deposits for WooCommerce”. I admit, I might not have done enough homework before I responded to the previous post. I found it while Googling my issue. But now that I’m looking at the homepage for Bayna’s plugin, it may be that their pro version accommodates this. I’ll investigate and respond here if I find that to be the case.
